Biography

Fallon Etkin is a certified physician assistant and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and the New York State Society of PAs. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Albany Medical College in Albany, NY, and completed the joint physician assistant program with Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and Albany Medical College. Fallon began her studies at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in biomedical technology, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She is particularly interested in child development, disease prevention, and overall wellness.

Fallon was inspired to pursue a medical career through interactions with her family pediatricians, Dr. Constance Glasgow and Dr. Gary Griffieth, who served as role models and demonstrated the qualities of a clinician she strives to provide to her patients. One of the most pivotal times for her was watching her sister become a PA, as she acted as one of her greatest influences and mentors in her life.

She finds that the most rewarding part of patient care is building a relationship with her patients and their support systems. Fallon looks forward to the intellectual challenge of navigating complex multi-organ issues, while also providing individualized patient care centered around mutual respect, informed decision-making, and open communication. When caring for patients, Fallon aims to create a safe space for them and believes a strong patient-provider relationship allows patients to understand their treatment plans better and ultimately gives them the autonomy to play an active role in their care.

Fallon is originally from Clifton Park, NY, and was drawn to stay in this area because she’s always wanted to give back to the community where she was raised. She and her fiancé recently relocated back to the area and bought their dream home! Fallon volunteers for the Arthritis Foundation of the Capital Region, the City Mission in Albany, and the Alzheimer’s Society. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, drawing/painting, traveling/adventures, new music/concerts, cooking, playing tennis, and photography.
